A Grateful Innkeeper ................................9/24/12

   Good evening everyone,

I just got home. How was your day?
My Gratitudes for Today:
1. I attended a workshop and am learning about resources available that will help me with my business.
2. I had an amazing experience on the corner of
12 Street and Broadway, in downtown Oakland.  It was a time of unexpected fellowship.
3. I attended a business meeting in the evening. Policies were not being followed. I stood for them, even though it was against the tide of all those present. They were willing to hear me out and reconsider how things are handled. This issue was not resolved but it is moving in the right direction. I have a strong need for consistency and integrity. I'm glad I spoke up, even though I was the most junior person there.
4. Today, after attending another workshop, I'll meet with Stuart and we'll take steps to enhance  my business and profitability.

Would it be possible for me to hear your gratitudes? Thanks

Gratitudes for today:

1) I have a feeling that a new beginning is starting for me and... quite frankly... I am excited about it!

2) I hit a low point but now I am feeling stronger than ever.

3) I have a fridge full of healthy food to munch away on... YUM!

4) I am feeling a confidence and curiosity to try new things.. maybe a dance class or a meditation group?

5) I have a couple of amazing friends who continue to support and encourage me through my hardest days... They never give up on me! They are the light at the end of the tunnel.

6) I am finally able to see that I need to let go of a few of my relationships that are bringing me down. It's time to let in the sunshine and let go of the darkness.

:)

Hi Morgan,

I like your attitude! My sense is that your life will experience an upswing. Thanks for your honesty. I appreciate your comments, they add to the fellowship we share here.

I'm in agreement with you---I call supportive friends my Balcony People. I would not be one fourth the person I am, without them.

Hey, you might want to take a look at my post: "Letting Go" here's the link:

Nalia,

My friend, I'm happy reading your gratitudes. Thank you for adding positivity to this inn.

I glad hearing you are enjoying life and good health.

Can you share one of the serendipitous moments? For me, it was coming across the beautiful lagoons in the Harbor Bay area, near where I live.
