Mercy and Grace Are Two Birds of a Different Feather

I lost track this week that Sunday was the last time I wrote here, doing my innkeeper duties.  I have been crazily busy, more clients than ever, and the number is still increasing.  This
heavier load was also interspersed with emergency sessions, both in person, and on the phone.   A normal post won't happen, tonight.  Preparing for an important meeting tomorrow occupies my attention, except for the fifteen minutes I dedicate to what I am writing right now.

What happens Saturday is more important than anything that has happened since January 3rd.  Presently, I am not my normal self because of this event. That is okay.  Emotions more alive than normal, are engulfing me.  And I am spunky to begin with.  Pray for me, tomorrow from 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time, until 1:00 p.m., please.  Much appreciated.

Gratitudes:
1.  For what Christ did on my behalf, as is celebrated on this day.
2.  For knowing God's grace and mercy.  I am undeserving of God's love, but grateful for knowing it. Grace is receiving what I don't deserve.  Mercy is not experiencing the negative consequences I deserve.
God became my father when I was a lad. He has been with me ever since.  I would not be the person I am if it weren't for His nurturance and love.
3.  For having the best conversation of the year, tomorrow morning.
4.  For the balance I know, emotionally. My life is frequently assaulted, emotionally, spiritually and mentally. Nonetheless, I enjoy equanimity, a peace that transcends my circumstances.
5.  I had a rich conversation with new friends this afternoon.  We were all in tears of gratitude, at different times in our visit.
6.  I am glad I am a man who is in touch with his feelings. They make me alive, making me aware of my wants and needs.
7.  For showing mercy towards someone I love when I, without recovery, would have been petulant, moody and angry.

How About You?
What are your three gratitudes for today?  I'd love hearing them.
Also, please don't forget to pray for me!

I will revamp this post later this weekend.  For now, this will have to do.

May you have a great and grateful weekend!  I hope mine will be.
