The Most Important Anniversary ............ 1/6/15

Today, more than twenty years ago, was a life-changing day.  I encountered God.  Really.  He's been with me since.

Fourteen I was.  The occasion was the
greatest ever.  Nothing comes close.  Was it emotionally stupendous?  No.  It was a quietly intense moment.

Like when I am in the forest, soaking in the surging sound of a rain-swollen river, the canopy of leaves that lay above and beyond stunning my senses with variations of green, as the sun tries breaking through them.

In recovery, what I did was take Step Three. For more, read my account here.

My Gratitudes:
1.  For joy.  I have plenty of it, even when encountering disappointment, as I have lately. Abundance is not in how much we have, but in how much we enjoy.
2.  For no two days being the same and owning my own business.  I having opportunities, daily, that let me celebrate the best of life.
3.  For the gift of self-discipline.  I get much done, each day.  This is the result of organizing each day, taking care of my priorities.

How About You?
What are your three gratitudes for today?   Please let me hear from you!
