Slowing Down: Taking Care of Self 5/24/11

My gratitudes for Tuesday:

1.  I slowed down by staying home tonight. Some of my commitments I'm easing up on. Focus on other priorities is what I need to do. A client wanted to see me later this week. I scooted it to next week. I need to make sure to take care of myself. Part of my sanity and serenity requires me doing less than I normally do. My worth is not established by what I do; it's based on
who I am; I'm a loved child of God, all due to His grace towards me.
2. I'm about to start working on other areas in my life. These areas will help me reach the vision I have for my life.
3. I had time to research today; that's something I always enjoy doing. It relaxes me.I don't ever want to be a mental loafer. It also armors me for the demands and challenges of the day.

Most of you know that I ask for you to share three gratitudes when you drop by this inn. You can see I kept it pretty simple today. Please give it a try; posting here promotes community building.
