Humility At the Highest Level... 5/4/15

This young man, Steph Curry just won the Most Valuable Player award in professional basketball, the NBA.  He's leading his team into the playoffs.  So, what?  This is what.  On the greatest stage of his career, he gives credit to his dad.  Earlier in the conference he thanked his mother for her example of faith.

In the process he gets choked up, thinking of his father's influence upon him.  Can't
beat that. Play the clip, you'll see.

My Gratitudes:
1.  For a man like Steph Curry.  May his tribe increase.  I appreciate his humility.
2.  That even though his fellow teammates were sitting along side him, and boisterous, he was not embarrassed in demonstrating love and respect for his mother and father.
3.  For the life he models. He has worked hard and is diligent. He lets his performance on the court do all the speaking for him.  He reminds me of the following quote:
"Honor and talent is like a river. The deeper it is, the less noise it makes."                                                    Goethe
4.  I am thankful for being patient towards myself. As I am feeling pressures in several directions, I am taking it slow. If I make mistakes, that's fine. They don't define me.

How About You?
What are your gratitudes for today?
