Uncertain, Unsure, Unclear, But Moving Forward Towards Clarity .... 4/7/15

I had company tonight.  After working all afternoon, after a three hour break---because I was worn out----we resumed tackling this intense project. Our labors took me beyond the time when I post here. An energy depleting day it was.  I am beat.  I did not take care of myself today, even with the break.

    Met with
someone special Saturday, an individual I have known for two-and-a-half years.  Mixed feelings, were the upshot. I am not quite sure where I want to be with this person.  I will spend time, figuring out how I will express the frustration and awkwardness I am going through.  I don't yet comprehend what is going on within me or what I will tolerate when with this person. Sorting my feelings is in order, it will provide much needed clarity.

Applying what I wrote here  gradually helps me discover the direction of this friendship. I am growing in being clearer, more real, when communicating. I will apply new skills with this person but, I don't want to be reckless.

Gratitudes:
1.  For rest after writing this post.
2.  I was disciplined today. The person I worked with on this project is growing in this area. I love how boundaries help me maintain my welfare and peace of mind.
3.  For priorities.  They help me to stay on track, maintaining focus.
4.  For workshops I'll be giving in San Leandro, within the next month.
5.  For new resources I have created that are being manufactured. I'll receive them by mid-April.  Can't wait.  It will help me better respond to and serve my clients.

How About You?
What are your three gratitudes for today?  I'd love hearing them.

I would like to thank you for teaching me a better way to communicate with others especially bullies who are insecure and are too afraid to say anything to your face, but instead spread rumors about you behind your back. You taught me to have more self control and to not explode when you are confronting the problem. I still need a lot of practice, but it has been an amazing start.

To me life is very unclear, and there are a lot of obstacles that I need to overcome, but as long as I can work on my goals and my future I will be able to eventually in my book succeed and achieve my goals. Taking just small baby steps in the right direction can help me in the long run for just about anything that I want to accomplish, I just have to find the right people to hang around with in order for me to grow.

Dear Lemonade,

I am sorry you are relating with bullies. It is never pleasant, being the object of gossip or putdowns. I respect you, for all your efforts in handling others who are trying to rob you of your happiness.

I am mindful of someone who said to rejoice when others speak ill of us. He said we are like others who made a positive impact in society yet suffered derision and abuse because of those they confronted.

How can you take care of yourself, while feeling peer pressure and the betrayal of those you once thought were your friends?

I hope you are discharging the stress building up within.

If you have any questions, please write again. I care. You have my prayers.

Dear Someone,

Thank you for your honesty. Thomas Mann said "Order ad simplification is necessary for the mastery of any subject." It looks like you are taking his comment to heart, sticking to your goals.

How do you know when you are hanging out with the right people? One rule of thumb for me is that I feel better, more alive, after I spend time with a emotionally healthy friend. There's give and take, reciprocity. Also, I don't have to be more than who I am.

What a great day it was, waking up and finding all the comments you posted today. You made a very happy innkeeper!
