“We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.” Thornton Wilder |
How are you? My day went well. Recently, the inn has had technical challenges. I've contacted someone who can help me. Lately, due to these problems, I've felt like I was alone on an ice floe. I look forward to hearing from you who drop by.
My Gratitudes For This Wintry Day:
1. I celebrated my son's birthday today with the family. It was
fabulous. We dined at an restaurant we all love. Talking, sharing, honoring my son's birthday, nothing beats connecting with loved ones, especially family.
2. I rested before the event. I took care of my physical well-being, mindful that I've been sick.
3. I enjoyed two first-run movies, after eating, shopping with the birthday celebrant, praying and having fun with my sons. Spending the evening together with loved ones filled my need for companionship.
4. I left everything aside today, focusing on making the evening successful. I enjoyed ease today. The pressures I'm facing, I left for tomorrow. I made the most of my son's birthday. I'm thankful for living a balanced life, appreciating the moment.
