Majestic Mountains and Me

Squaw Valley.  This is a picture when it has more snow.
       Good evening everyone,

I'm leaving my gratitudes and then I'm conking out. I didn't get much sleep last night.

My Gratitudes for This Lovely Saturday:

1. I'm thankful for traveling safely. With three other friends, we traveled over 220 miles to Squaw Valley. The Winter Olympics have taken place here.
2. An engaging conversation with the driver, Jonathan, made the trip
seem shorter. I sat up in front with him. He's attending the same university I went to. We have a common interest in history.
3.I'm attending a conference. I caught up with several friends, the hugs are pretty good, too.
4. I'm looking forward to resting.  I had two hours sleep last night.
5. I loved time spent at the Fairmont Hotel with my youngest son last night.

He's a musician, like his dad. We enjoyed a wonderful time together, just us two.Our time was deep, rich, thoughtful and celebrative. I'm encouraging him as he's starting young adulthood. We ended our night with prayer.

6. Listening to Eric Shifrin play jazz on the piano was a terrific way to put an early end to my work week.
7. The inn had two thousand visitors this week, four hundred and forty, today alone. Thank you for dropping by. For the next two people who share their gratitudes, I have something for you.
8. I love the majesty of the environment that surrounds me right now.

There's snow scattered around the grounds, the mountains jut upward with a dignified posture. Seeing eagles soar and inhaling crisp, clean wintry air during the fall season is a definite change of routine.

Good night everyone, I'll talk with you later.
