Moving Forward ...9/28/11

Enjoy the little things in life, for one day you may look back and
realise that they were in fact the big things.   (Robert Brault)
     Good evening,

I'm tired.I'll share my gratitudes and then hit the hay.

My Gratitudes for Tuesday:

1.  I had a slower day. Thank you, God, for rest. Rest allows my body and mind to be restored, when that happens, inspiration follows.
2. I went to a business meeting tonight.  It's great being encouraged by others. I'm learning plenty that helps me run my business solvently, with clarity, dignity and ease.

3. After the evening meeting broke up, I spoke with someone I really didn't know. She shared how several routine medical needs could be met inexpensively. Her enthusiasm when she talked bolstered my spirits.

I was tired: moving to a new home has taken some steam out of me. Unpacking boxes, getting things in order, on top of a busy work schedule is taxing. Steps I'm taking as a result of a business conference, and working on a book also demand time. This woman's joyful positivity buoyed me my weary ears and mind.

I always love being with others who
seize life and celebrate it.

4. Spending time with my middle son the past few days has been heart warming. It also stretches my abilities as a father of a young adult.
5. Tomorrow, I'm developing new parts to my business. More about that in the next few days. I'm following through on details my marketing team suggested. I'm eager to see results. I'm incorporating more of my skills, using mass media.
6. I look forward to riding my bike tomorrow. I'm thankful for exercise, it reduces stress.
7. I met with my financial/business mentor today, for the second time. As a result of our session, I'm taking steps that will strengthen me in those areas. My mentor has a great sense of humor, is tall, red-haired, humble, spiritual and successful. My type of guy.
8. I did not allow the urgent but unimportant issues of today to crowd out the important but non urgent tasks that needed to be done.I'm thankful that I've learned to not succumb to the tyranny of the urgent. I'm thankful for responding and not reacting; I'm grateful for the discernment that allows us to place principles above personalities.
