Entering An Amazing Time 10/31/20

   Hello, everyone.

A 3-day weekend, I am enjoying, traveling the coast of Northern California, heading up to Eureka, near the Oregon border.

Saturday, I spent the evening with a friend

in Petaluma, us talk-ing and eating out. She's a delightful woman, with plenty to say.

I don't have a laptop that works. Hence, I didn't write last night.

Today, was fun. I breathed in the lovely sights of Sonoma County and it's part of the coast until I reached Fort Bragg, in Mendocino County, where I am now.  Made better was driving my roadster along twisty roads.

I'm using the laptop for guests in the lobby of a hotel.  I'm surprised the hospitality industry still provides this service.  It's something to be grateful for.

It meets my need for communicating and connecting with you.

On three different occasions today three Sonoma County sheriffs rode behind me for several miles as I scooted up the coast.  I feared them putting on their lights and pulling me over.  I don't know what was up with that.

I expressed innocence while behind the wheel.  I guess they sensed my driving habits.

Fortunately, while tailed by these officers, I downshifted. I drove in third gear. The brake lights do not go on when you slow down that way.  I moved no faster than 45 mph (73 km/h).

Seeing them in the rear view mirror was enough motivation to not push my car faster.

*******

Yes, we are coming up with a doozy this Tuesday.

The world with bated breath awaits the outcome of the civic duty of many. Those who will determine who will lead the United States. My two cents is that we want in office someone who demonstrates the qualities of mature, sensitive, compassionate leadership.

I have to go, they're closing up the business section of the hotel.

I hope you're doing well. I certainly am.  Life is amazingly good when we stay in the solution, relate with healthy others and make time to enjoy life.

It is even better when we are gentle towards ourselves.

Looking forward to talking with you soon,

    Pablo
