What Makes Us Happy Today and Everyday.......... 11/25/21

Dear Guests to the Attitude of Gra-titude Inn, I reso-nate with the message in today's illustration.

I appreciate today's focus: gra-titude.  Each home in the United States

on this day becomes an Attitude of Gratitude Inn.

I have a request.  Could you share your gratitude?

Happy Thanksgiving!  This day swells my heart----its focus is the same as this inn.  This holiday appeals to dearly held values: closeness, community with loved ones, emotional warmth, and celebration of the good things life offers.

I write this post after tending to Thanksgiving Day earlier.  This is not Turkey Day.

That sobriquet misses the point.  The goal today is to have a heart-felt appreciation for God's providence.  Gratitudes expressed in this inn demonstrate there's much we are grateful for.            I trust you'll enjoy your day, and I have and will.  A terrific Thanksgiving Day is my wish.  May God's blessings and a spirit of gratitude be yours---not only today but each day---is my prayer.
My Gratitudes for Today.
1.  In the midst of the holiday stresses, I'm thankful for the peace God offers when we use recovery principles.  It tran-scends our circumstances.
2.  Today is the day where we give thanks for family, friends all those dear to us, and with whom we share laughter and heartfelt conversations.
3. Discovering new friends is a joy. Un-fortunately, most we encounter are ac-quaintances.  Old friends, who know us through weal, woe, success and challeng-es, are rare.
They uplift, nur-ture, and provide health for and nurture our soul.

4.  We want to give thanks for the gifts God gave us: those are our abilities.  What we do with them is our gift to Him.
5.  We can give thanks for the values of home, hearth, faith, knowing God's love and forgiveness.
