Hello everyone,
Last week, on Thursday and Saturday, I went to the shop working on my laptop. Today was the third time. I'm still
awaiting its repair.
I'm at the library. After checking my e-mail, I have fourteen minutes remaining to post this. Having a chance to say hello relieves the frustration of still being computer-less. Tomorrow is a big day for this inn. It's the two year anniversary when this place opened its doors.

My Gratitudes for Today:
1. I've gone more than a year without driving my car. I'm kicking the webs off of it and will drive it soon. My time framework will change. 2. I love daylight savings time. I rode home on my bike last night and delighted in the warm weather. I rode along the San Leandro Bay.
3. I'm glad I could connect with you. I enjoy the fellowship we share.

Today I am grateful for...
1. The beautiful, warm spring-like weather that settled over the Bay Area, once it pushed and shoved its way through SF's unexpected pea-soup fog.
2. A pleasantly surprising Japanese seafood sale to my chef friend in SF, making my 12 hour work day well worth the effort!
3. Being able to avoid/skirt some major freeway log-jams (an AM tractor-trailer wine bottle spill on 880!)while out and about fish-mongering.
4. Finding ample support in our household community to cover a rare, monthly financial shortfall.
5. A revitalizing three-hour sleep after work that my early-boomer body sorely needed; affording energy to pen these.
6. Being able to believe that the God of my understanding has unexpected blessings, good fortune and prosperity planned for me, on the other side of my upcoming 50% cut in pay, if I can simply fulfill the condition to accept, embrace and digest this pending challenge.
7. A timely reading in the famous and powerful daily reader, Courage to Change for May 18th, on page 139;
"The Chinese word for crisis is written with two characters. The first stands for danger, and the second for opportunity. I will look for the good hidden within everything I encounter."
The famous author, Richard Bach (Jonathan Livingston Seagull) wrote;
"There is no such thing as a problem without a gift for you in its hands."
8. Being able to smile and carry on, when life throws a mud-pie in my face at point-blank range. Hey, isn't that what a clean towel and warm water are for!
Happy two year anniversary! So great to have your positive vibes out on the web. Many people write about how miserable which is totally fine, but you put on a positive spin on everything and it really gravitates me toward you and your great energy. Keep it up!
